City Manager Overview


Patrick Sullivan was selected to be the City manager of Northville in March 2006.  His previous governmental experience includes 10 years as superintendent of the City of St. Clair, MI; four years as assistant Village manager and Village clerk of Beverly Hills, MI; manager of the Village of New Haven, MI; and township clerk of Lenox Township, MI.

Sullivan received a Masters of Public Administration from Oakland University, and a Bachelors of Public Affairs from Wayne State University.

In 2018, he is serving a one-year term as president of the Michigan Municipal Executives (MME), leading an association that represents approximately 300 Michigan municipal managers. He served as president-elect in 2017 and has been a member for 28 years. Other professional memberships include the International City Managers Association and the Michigan Municipal League.

Patrick and his wife Amy (who is the City Manager of Huntington Woods) have three grown children, Casey, Laney and Annie.
