Work on 341 E. Main progresses

This historic building is owned by Guidobono Building Co.The Planning Commission granted preliminary site plan approval to the applicant, Guidobono Building Co., for the historic building at 341 E. Main at its May 19 meeting provided that specific conditions are met. Those conditions, for the final site plan, include finishing outstanding items listed on the City planner’s (CWA) report of April 14, 2020; adjusting two parking spaces for better access; conducting an evaluation of the perimeter conditions and retaining wall to identify any necessary remediation, and providing a grading plan. Also a safety plan is to be submitted to the City for moving the building within the site.
 
The subcommittee for the Master Plan public input process, consisting of commissioners Thomas Barry, Jeffrey Gaines, Andrew Krenz and Donna Tinberg, presented an update of their work. The subcommittee was asked to provide the draft survey to the full Commission before proceeding with the first survey for public input.

The Planning Commission’s June 16 meeting will include a public hearing on the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) proposal, to gather comments from residents about the draft.
