Brian Turnbull is a ‘79 graduate of Northville High School and a life-long Northville resident, part of a five-generation family in the area. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Eastern Michigan University, and graduated from a Management Development Program at Northwestern University. He spent 20 years of his career at Ford Motor Company in Product Development, Financial Services and Marketing. He has held executive leadership positions at Phoenix Group, NiTS Solution and Urban Science, and was the CEO and owner of iCMS Solutions. Brian is a local historian and featured lecturer, as well as a dedicated community volunteer. He and his wife Ann (Dayton) Turnbull have two children, Katelyn and Jasen. Katelyn and her husband, Clayton, are the parents of Brian and Ann’s first grandchild, Eliza Lyn.

Marilyn Price, elected to City Council in November 2015, has been a resident of Northville since 1993. She serves as Council liaison to Northville Youth Assistance, Senior Advisory Council, Personnel Committee, Board and Commission Selection Committee, and the Liquor License Review Committee. Marilyn has a BS in Ed, and an MA from Central Michigan University and an EdD in Counseling and Counselor Education from Indiana University. Past community service includes 8 ½ yrs on the Northville Board of Education, 12 yrs on Northville Youth Assistance, and 14 yrs in Mothers’ Club of Northville. Prior to moving to Northville, Marilyn spent 12 years as a staff member and assistant director at the University Counseling Center at Binghamton University. She and her husband Don and have two sons, Daniel and Will.

Sam Ekong, elected to the City Council in November 2013, has been a resident of Northville since 2005. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering from the University of Washington, and a Master’s degree in Industrial/ Systems engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Sam has over 30 years of experience in Engineering and Management, and for the past seven years has been supporting the DOD as a contractor. He currently serves as the Council’s liaison to the Economic Development Corporation, the Housing Commission, and the Senior Advisory Council. He is also a published author and a licensed builder. He is married to Lavinia who is a clinical psychologist, and has one daughter. He enjoys traveling, reading, and meeting people.

Patrick Giesa, a resident of Northville since 1998, was elected to City Council in November 2017. He serves on the Board Commissions Selection Committee, the Board of Zoning Appeals, the Liquor License Review Committee and Northville’s Senior Advisory Council.

Giesa earned a technical degree in computer engineering with a minor in accounting from North Idaho College. He served six years in the U.S. Army Reserve. Now retired, he enjoyed a 42-year career in the computer industry.

Active in the community, he served five years on the board of directors for Northville Rotary and was president of the club in 2016. He was a mentor in Northville’s Youth Assistance program and served on Northville’s Non-Motorized Advisory Committee.

He and his wife Karen have three adult children (Elli, John and Gannon) and five grandchildren. Among his many interests, he enjoys hiking, bicycling, winter sports and cooking.

Barbara is a 33-year resident of the Northville community and now lives in the Historic District. She is an experienced public policy analyst, government performance auditor and risk analyst. She worked for the GAO/US Congress from 1982 to 1995 as a certified government financial manager and, from 1966, as a public sector consultant and data analyst – currently at a forensic engineering firm. Since 1990, she has been a volunteer and leader in local service organizations, public study committees and Northville Public Schools. She has three children and three grandchildren.
