Map shows area serviced by the water main being repaired. The City of Northville Department of Public Works will be performing a necessary water main valve replacement overnight, Tuesday April 27 at 10 p.m. into the early morning Wednesday April 28. This timing was scheduled to avoid daytime service interruptions.

The area highlighted in the map below shows who may be impacted. The borders are roughly from the west side of the street on West St. to North Center, including buildings on the east side of that street. Also, from W. Main to the northern side of Randolph Street.

During these repairs, your water service may be intermittently interrupted. At this time, there is no Boil Water Advisory expected. If that changes, we will send a notice to the media and post it on the website and in social media.

DPW has portable bottled drinking water available for those in need of it. If you need bottled water delivered, please call 248-305-2840 before 3:30 p.m. on April 27.

After the repair is complete, if discolored water is observed, flush the internal cold-water plumbing lines until all faucets run clear, start at the lowest level of your home or business and work your way to the highest-level floor. Flush sinks, tubs, showers, all appliances that utilize water and outdoor hose bibs.

We appreciate your patience as we make this necessary replacement.
