Brian Turnbull is a ‘79 graduate of Northville High School and a life-long Northville resident, part of a five-generation family in the area. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Eastern Michigan University, and graduated from a Management Development Program at Northwestern University.

He spent 20 years of his career at Ford Motor Company in Product Development, Financial Services and Marketing. He has held executive leadership positions at Phoenix Group, NiTS Solution and Urban Science, and was the CEO and owner of iCMS Solutions.

He is a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission, and the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Board. 

Brian is a local historian and featured lecturer, as well as a dedicated community volunteer. He and his wife, Ann (Dayton) Turnbull, have two children, Katelyn and Jasen. He has two grandchildren, Eliza Lyn and Evie, daughters of Katelyn and her husband, Clayton.

Barbara Moroski-Browne is a 33-year resident of the Northville community and has lived in the Historic District since 2013. Since 1990, she has been a volunteer and leader in local organizations and Northville Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor's of Public Affairs (Policy Analysis) from Wayne State University. She is an experienced public policy analyst, government performance auditor and risk analyst. Employment history: GAO/US Congress [1982-1995, Certified Government Financial Manager], management consultant [1996-1998], and senior data analyst/public sector consultant [1998-current] at Design Research Engineering, a forensic engineering firm in Novi. 

She is a member of the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and the Parks and Recreation Commission, and a Council liaison to the Historic District Commission and an alternate to the Housing Commission.

Barbara has three children: Adrienne (Aneil Kersey), Garrett and Lauren – all Northville Public School graduates. Her three grandsons also live in Northville and attend Northville Public Schools. She enjoys exploring new places, travel, reading, hiking, volunteering, and hanging out in the 'Ville.

Laura Genitti notes that she might be the most well-known neighbor in Northville since her family’s business, Genitti’s Hole-In-The-Wall, has called its location on Main Steet home for 52 years. Genitti is a life-long Northville resident. She is the daughter of John and Toni Genitti and has worked in the family restaurant ever since she could help peel carrots. A graduate of Northville High School in 1996, she later earned an Associate’s Degree in Small Business Management. Laura said she loves the support that family and dear friends in Northville have provided. As such, she and her husband, Kirk, happily have raised their three children in the city.

Andrew Krenz was sworn in on April 27, 2021 to fill an open seat following a majority vote by City Council. In Nov. 2021, he was elected to the seat. He has been a resident of the Historic District (and the Halloween District) since 2008. His passions are his family, service to residents, and leading global teams to engineer the future of zero-emission vehicle electrification for General Motors.

He has an Engineering degree from the University of Michigan, a Master's in Engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from Indiana University, along with six patents.

His contributions to the city include being a past member of the Planning Commission, leading the Farmers’ Market Task force, being the Council liaison to the Board of Zoning Appeals, Economic Development Council, Northville Youth Network and the Liquor License Review Board.

Andrew and his wife, Kristine, and children Parker, Cullen, and Preston enjoy traveling near and far, a desire that emerged from their time living abroad in Germany. The Krenz children attend Northville Public Schools.

John Carter was elected to City Council in November 2021. He has been a resident of the Northville Historic District since 2013. John has an undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Michigan, a Master's of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Duke University. His contributions to the city include serving on the Economic Development Committee, the Sustainability Team, and the Ford Field Task Force. He is a member of the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, and the Council liaison to the Housing Commission and the Election Commission, and an alternate to the Northville Youth Network and the Northville Senior Advisory Commission. 

Professionally, John has 20 years of experience in finance and management consulting and currently serves as the Automotive and Mobility Leader at Slalom Consulting where he supports leading automotive manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers as they navigate an ever-evolving industry with complex strategy, business operations, and technology initiatives.

John and his wife, Liz, have three children: Ainslie, Declan and Georgia. In his free time, John enjoys running/coaching cross country, cycling, volunteering, and spending time with his family.
