Grant Policy
In August 2024, Northville City Council adopted a Grant Policy to establish guidelines and procedures for the management and administration of grants awarded to the City of Northville. The Policy ensures compliance with 2CFR 200 uniform grant guidelines and other applicable local, state and federation regulations.
The policy outlines the various task associated with grant preparation and administration and identifies the roles and responsibilities of persons associated with preparing, submitting and administering grants on behalf of the city. The policy details internal controls and identifies related policies and procedures that are to be complied with in administration of grants.

Grant Database
To support tracking and administration of capital projects grants, the city maintains a grant database listing grants applied for, secured and under administration by the city of Northville. The data base is an internal document that is used to record information and statistics related to capital projects grants; it does not include operating or equipment grants, or donation of funds or services. The data base is updated regularly but does not reflect in-time expenditures and is not reflective of all capital projects underway.
