Purpose and Composition
The Construction Board of Appeals reviews appeals to provisions of the building code or interpretation of the building official.
The Board is comprised of not less than three and not more than seven members, as determined by City Council. Members of the board are appointed for two-year terms by the Mayor. Members of the board shall be qualified by experience or training to perform their board member duties. A person may serve on the board of appeals of more than one governmental subdivision.
